Music: Tee Grizzley “Teetroit”

300 Entertainmemt

After his breakout year, Tee Grizzley has a lot more up his sleeve when it comes to proving that he is one of the best rising talents in the game. The “First Day Out” rapper releases a new song for fans today (July 28), titled “Teetroit,” which sees him representing hard for his home city of Detroit.
The 300 Entertainment signee paints a gritty picture of the Michigan capital, where he talks about some of the harsh realities that residents of Detroit have to face continuously including death, prison and more.
“I grew up on Joy Road, there’s a lot of villains,” Grizzley rhymes. “How we gon put these choppers down, these people trying to kill us/Cause the puttin’ up prisons, stadiums for the Pistons/Only thing n*ggas ain’t puttin’ up is the pistols.”
Fans will be able to get a better idea of how Grizzley became the man and artist he is today through the lyrics, which are a placeholder while the MC gears up for his debut album release, Activated, in the near future. Earlier this summer, the Detroit native announced that he was working on finishing up his first studio album, which follows in the footsteps of his My Moment mixtape that he dropped back in April.
